Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakçi and Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi met in Muscat.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakçi stated on his social media account that he met with his counterpart Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi in Muscat, the capital of Oman. It was reported that the foreign ministers of Iran and Oman discussed regional developments, especially the issue of the Strait of Hormuz, as well as bilateral relations between Tehran and Muscat.
Omani Foreign Minister Busaidi reiterated his country's stance on using diplomacy to prevent the escalation of tensions in the region, expressing hope that the full implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between Iran and the USA would lead to an improvement in the security situation in the region.
