Floods in Bangladesh: 44 dead
It has been reported that 44 people have died in floods and landslides caused by monsoon rains in Bangladesh.

The Bangladeshi press shared a statement from the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief. The statement noted that numerous settlements in 7 regions, including Khagrachhari, Rangamati, Bandarban, Cox's Bazar, Chattogram, Moulvibazar, and Habiganj, were submerged. It was reported that 44 people lost their lives and 39 were injured in the floods and landslides caused by monsoon rains, stating, "A total of 1,022,963 people were affected by the disaster."
