The US Central Command announced that the Strait of Hormuz is open to all ships wishing to legally transit through the international waterway.
In a statement made on the social media account of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was stated, "The Strait of Hormuz is open to all ships wishing to legally transit through the international waterway. The US military is deployed and prepared to ensure freedom of navigation despite Iran's unjust aggression, harassment, threats, and arbitrary declarations. The strait is not under Iran's control. Traffic flow continues," the statement said.
