Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that they have decided to change the country's political strategy and make changes in the government accordingly.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in a post on his social media account that he had received Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliya Sviridenko in his office. Zelensky noted that they are continuing efforts to obtain the necessary license from the United States to produce missiles used in the 'Patriot' air defense system, and said, “We are also working on establishing a joint air defense system with European countries. Implementing such important projects is a priority for us. Ukraine is changing its political strategy.”
Zelensky expressed that they want to strengthen Ukraine's integration process with the European Union (EU), its relations with neighboring countries, and the Ukrainian army serving on the front line. He emphasized that personnel changes will begin to ensure the implementation of the updated political strategy in Ukraine. Zelensky stated, “During the meeting with Prime Minister Yuliya Sviridenko, we discussed these issues and decided to make changes in the government. We agreed that the cabinet needs to be renewed for these changes. I am grateful to Yuliya for her clear, stable, and effective work in the prime ministerial role and for her years of successful activities in the Ukrainian government, and I offered her to lead a new and important direction in relations with a key ally. I hope to implement the relevant changes in the Ukrainian government with the deputies.”
