Firefighters in the Chatuchak area of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, reported receiving a call about a fire at a bar around midnight local time. It was stated that the teams intervening in the fire evacuated the people in the venue. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, in a statement at the scene, announced that according to initial findings, 27 people lost their lives in the fire and many injured were taken to the hospital. An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched.
