The US military announced the completion of the final wave of attacks on military targets in Iran.
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) made a statement on its social media account regarding the attacks on Iran. The statement reported that US forces struck military targets across Iran, including Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa Island, and Bandar Abbas, during an operation that lasted approximately 5 hours, and that the final wave of attacks has been completed.
The statement noted that precision munitions were used against Iran's coastal defense systems, missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) bases, and naval forces, and that more than 50,000 US troops are deployed across the Middle East.
