Person shot by ICE police in the US dies
It has been reported that the person shot by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) teams in the state of Maine, USA, has died.

In a statement made on the social media account of the US Department of Homeland Security, it was noted that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) teams were 'monitoring a person who was in the country illegally and had been ordered to be deported.' The statement mentioned that the person's vehicle, which was being followed yesterday morning local time in the city of Biddeford, Maine, began to move, and ICE teams attempted to stop this person, stating, "The vehicle tried to flee the scene, and an officer discharged their weapon due to concerns for public safety."

The statement reported that the driver of the vehicle was shot, emergency teams were notified, but the person died, using the expressions, "Biddeford Police Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) teams arrived at the scene and an investigation into the incident was initiated."
