Senator Graham's Sister Appointed to His Seat
In the US, Darline Graham has been appointed to replace the late Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.

Republican South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster announced at a press conference that he has the authority to appoint a representative for the state as required by law. Governor McMaster appointed Graham's sister, Nordone, to complete the term of the late Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, which is set to expire in January. The 62-year-old Nordone, who is expected to be sworn in today, will become South Carolina's first female senator at the federal level.
