In a statement from the Qatari Emirate's Diwan, it was reported that U.S. President Donald Trump spoke on the phone with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Sani. It was noted that during the conversation, Trump extended his condolences to Al Sani for the passing of his father, Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Sani. It was also conveyed that Emir Al Sani thanked Trump for his condolences.
