The Qatari Ministry of Defense reported that a missile attack targeting the country was intercepted by the Qatari Armed Forces. The Ministry of Interior announced that the attack was carried out by Iran and that a child was injured by falling shrapnel during interception efforts.

In a press release issued by the Qatari Ministry of Interior, details of the attack were shared. The ministry reported that following the Iranian attack that occurred in the morning, security forces and civil defense teams immediately took action as part of the established emergency response plans. Based on information received from the field, it was stated that shrapnel from the missiles, which were destroyed in the air, hit a child, and the injured child is receiving necessary medical care at the hospital.
