Bekayi, speaking about the memorandum of understanding signed with the US, said, "It seems that some groups within the US administration are preventing their government from fulfilling its commitments. However, what is important in the end is that the US has not fulfilled its commitments."

Speaking about the Strait of Hormuz, Bekayi stated, "Article 5 of the Memorandum of Understanding emphasizes that the management of the Strait of Hormuz will be conducted in consultation with Oman and regional countries. However, the US is ignoring this and trying to take control of this strategic waterway. The international community has been negatively affected by the war initiated against Iran. This will continue in the future," he said.
