Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi announced that Tehran has suspended its obligations arising from the memorandum of understanding.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi evaluated the latest situation in the region to the country's media. Noting that the Washington administration undermined the basis of the agreement, Gharibabadi said, “The US violated all its commitments in the memorandum of understanding and suspended all articles. In response to this situation, our country also suspended its obligations in the memorandum of understanding and it is no longer being implemented.”
Gharibabadi stated that the US started its attacks while the negotiation phase was still ongoing, saying, “The US has once again realized that an aggressive attitude will not yield results and has received the necessary response to this stance.”
