Wildfires Continue in Greece
It has been reported that aerial and ground interventions continue for the wildfires on the islands of Evia and Salamina in Greece.

The Greek press reported that fires broke out in the Milaki area of Evia Island and the Selinia area of Salamina Island. The General Directorate of Civil Protection of Greece sent an emergency coded message to the mobile phones of residents in the area, asking those in the Selinia region to go to the coast. It was stated that the fire, which was being tackled from the air and ground, was partially brought under control.

The Greek Meteorological Service noted that the heatwave expected to be effective from today is anticipated to last approximately 4 days across the country, and temperatures are expected to drop starting Wednesday.
