Ferry Carrying 116 Passengers Capsizes Off Guyana
A ferry carrying 116 passengers has reportedly capsized in Guyana.

Guyana's Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill, shared on his social media account that search and rescue operations were initiated for the ferry crew and 116 passengers following an emergency alert received around 11:00 PM local time. Guyana's Prime Minister Mark Phillips stated that 53 people have been rescued so far and that search and rescue operations are ongoing.
