US military announces the death of a soldier

The US reported finding body remains in an attack that killed 2 soldiers in Jordan, and in Iraq, 1 soldier died during the controlled disposal of unexploded ordnance from an Iranian drone.

In a statement made on the social media account of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), it was reported that following the attack by Iran on the US base in Jordan on July 17, 2 US soldiers were killed and 1 soldier was previously reported missing. The statement noted that as a result of search efforts by US military personnel, unidentified body remains were found at the scene early yesterday, and the process of identifying the remains is ongoing. The statement also mentioned that during the controlled disposal of unexploded ordnance from a downed one-way Iranian attack drone in northern Iraq on July 18, 1 US soldier lost his life and another soldier was slightly injured in the incident.
