The statement noted that the ninth wave of airstrikes, aimed at weakening Iran's capacity to attack commercial ships and civilian sailors passing through the Strait of Hormuz, has been completed. The statement also mentioned that efforts to weaken Iran's military capacity would continue and that CENTCOM forces are ready for duty in the region. It was also reported in the statement that on the ninth night of the U.S. attacks, Iran's military command centers, communication networks, coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, naval forces, and missile and drone bases were targeted.
