U.S. President Donald Trump made statements about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Iran on his social media account. Trump said, “Iran will pay dearly for every American soldier it kills. This directive has been communicated to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and all leaders in the military, including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine.”
In another post, Trump defended Netanyahu's 'struggle' against Iran, stating, “As long as Netanyahu is in the U.S., he will not be arrested in any way. Those who need to be detained are the people who have 'driven Iran to death and destruction,' and this should have been resolved years ago by former presidents.”
