In the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the number of cases has risen to 2,423, while the death toll has reached 967.

According to the situation report released by health officials in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the number of confirmed Ebola cases in the country has risen to 2,423. Since the outbreak was declared on May 15, 967 people have died, and 469 patients have recovered. The report noted that 734 people are currently being kept in isolation.
