New York Mayor Mamdani Calls on US Government Regarding Netanyahu

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, in a video shared on his social media account, stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal and the architect of a genocide that has resulted in the deaths of over 73,000 Palestinians. Reminding of the targeted children and hospitals in Gaza, the food blockade, and the killed humanitarian workers and journalists, Mamdani said, “While all this is happening, the money for the bombs that kill people comes from the pockets of Americans.”

Mamdani noted that the destruction caused by Netanyahu should be recognized and he should be brought to justice, stating that they are examining all avenues regarding whether they can execute the International Criminal Court's (ICC) arrest warrant if he comes to New York. Mamdani said, “It is clear that we do not have independent legal authority to execute this order. The federal government has such authority. I call on them to join the ICC and execute this order. There is no place for Netanyahu and all other war criminals in New York.”
