The death toll in the Ebola outbreak affecting the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda has risen to 1001.
According to the latest data released by health officials in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda, the total death toll in the ongoing Ebola outbreak in Africa has reached 1001. The situation report published by the DRC Ministry of Health stated that 2,473 confirmed Ebola cases have been identified in the country, with 999 fatalities. In Uganda, 20 confirmed cases have been recorded, 2 of which resulted in death.
Meanwhile, the DRC Ministry of Health announced that 737 patients are being kept in isolation, and 482 people have recovered from the disease.
