Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with Petr Cingr, vice chairman of the Board of Directors of Agrofert Group, a Czech agro-industrial company, Report informs, citing the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The meeting reviewed opportunities for cooperation with Agrofert Group in the agri-industrial, chemical and energy sectors.
The sides also discussed expanding cooperation between business entities and promoting business ties in line with the prospects for developing economic and trade relations between the two countries.
The meeting provided information on Azerbaijan's favorable business and investment environment, reforms to develop the non-oil and gas sector, and state support mechanisms for entrepreneurship.
The sides assessed cooperation opportunities in the agri-industrial, chemical and energy sectors, as well as prospects for joint activities on investment projects.
