Death toll in Venezuela earthquakes rises to 5,398
The death toll from the earthquakes that occurred in Venezuela on June 24 has reportedly risen to 5,398.

Venezuelan National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez announced on his social media account that the death toll from the earthquake has increased by 52, reaching 5,398, while the number of injured has risen to 16,740. Rodriguez noted that over 60,000 people, including 30,000 volunteers, are working in the earthquake-affected areas, and that the distribution of humanitarian aid materials and clean water to the victims continues uninterrupted.
