U.S. President Donald Trump made a statement regarding Iran on his social media account. Trump said, “Until the next announcement, any damage to ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz or related cargo will be compensated with Iranian money held and controlled by the U.S. This damage could be very significant. This is a necessary and fair step.”
