It has been reported that the death toll from the floods caused by heavy rains in India's Assam state has risen to 61.
Indian media reported that the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) made a statement regarding the heavy rains and floods in the state. The statement noted that 14 more people have died in the floods, bringing the death toll to 61.
