Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan ordered the rapid reconstruction of infrastructure damaged in US attacks.
According to a written statement from the Iranian Presidency, President Mesud Pezeşkiyan met with officials from the Ministry of Transport in the capital, Tehran. After being presented with reports related to sea, air, and land transportation, as well as border gates and customs, Pezeşkiyan instructed the rapid reconstruction of infrastructure damaged in US attacks and the use of the best technology available for this purpose.
Describing the US attacks on Iran's infrastructure as 'war crimes', Pezeşkiyan stated that the issue should be pursued with the relevant international authorities. In his statement, Pezeşkiyan said, “Especially with the expansion of transportation networks with neighboring countries and the completion of railway networks, the country's strategic position will be further strengthened and its geopolitical capacity will increase.”
