Saudi Arabia: Drones Launched from Iraq Destroyed

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense provided information regarding the recent drone attacks targeting the country. The ministry reported that air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed numerous drones attempting to target oil facilities in the Eastern and Riyadh regions.

The ministry stated that these attack attempts were initiated from Iraqi territory and carried out by militias affiliated with Iran. It emphasized that Saudi Arabia fully retains the right to defend itself and its facilities. The statement included the expression, “The Kingdom reserves the right to respond at the appropriate time and place.”
