U.S. President Donald Trump spoke to the Israeli press about the tensions with Iran. He stated that he wanted the mediator countries to 'give negotiations one more chance' and therefore instructed a halt to attacks on Iran on July 24, saying, "Everyone dealing with Iran told me 'Don't shoot'."
Referring to the negotiations conducted with Iran through mediator countries, Trump said, "We are in very deep discussions with Iran. If it doesn't work, we will return to very strong military actions."
