Minister Yumaklı stated that actions were taken in line with the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and announced that 2 firefighting planes were dispatched upon France's request for assistance. Emphasizing that Turkey fulfills its responsibility not only to protect its own forests but also those of other countries when needed, thanks to its resources and experience, Yumaklı wished success to the crew on their mission and the teams fighting on the ground.
