Trump delivered a speech in memory of Graham at the funeral, which was also attended by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump stated that he had been close friends with Graham, especially over the last 10 years, and expressed his satisfaction with this. He said, “He had an extremely hawkish stance. It was announced that after Graham's funeral in Washington, he would be taken to his hometown in South Carolina and buried in a private ceremony organized by his family today.
