U.S. President Donald Trump announced that White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt will step down at the end of this month to spend more time with her family.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his social media account that Karoline Leavitt, whom he described as one of the best White House spokespersons in the country's history, will be stepping down from her position. Trump noted that Leavitt, who has made significant contributions since 2018 and during the 2024 election campaign, will be leaving her role at the end of this month to spend more time with her family and children.
Expressing his respect for Leavitt's decision, Trump stated that she will become one of his senior external advisors after leaving her position. Trump also mentioned that Leavitt will play an active role within the Republican Party in the upcoming midterm elections.
