Two pilots died after an 'AH-64 Apache' attack helicopter belonging to the army crashed in the state of Texas, USA.
A military helicopter crashed into an empty field in the Salado area of Texas, USA, yesterday at around 1:35 PM local time. Bell County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Cliff Coleman reported that two pilots in the 'AH-64 Apache' attack helicopter from Fort Hood Base lost their lives.
The crash of the helicopter sparked a forest fire in the area, and some nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution. It was stated that the helicopter did not hit any structures or civilians, and an investigation into the accident has been initiated.
