Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan said, “Iran will not succumb to economic pressure.”
Iranian media reported that President Mesud Pezeşkiyan met with economists at the Central Bank. Evaluating the possibility of a diplomatic solution with the US and the economic pressures from this country, Pezeşkiyan stated that they will not back down against economic pressures.
Pezeşkiyan noted that the US has achieved nothing in war, saying, “Our fundamental principle is to understand and solve problems through interaction and negotiation, but at the same time, as we have done so far, we will stand firm against economic pressures. Iran will not succumb to economic pressure.”
