Qatar's Prime Minister Al Sani to Visit Iran for Negotiations
Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Sani is reported to be traveling to Tehran today to meet with Iranian officials for negotiations on the Strait of Hormuz.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Majid al-Ansari shared on his social media account that Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Sani will be in Iran's capital, Tehran, today for discussions. Ansari stated that Al Sani will hold a series of meetings with Iranian officials, during which possibilities for reducing tensions and preparing conditions for dialogue will be discussed.

Emphasizing Qatar's unwavering stance that diplomacy and dialogue are the only solutions to disputes, Ansari said, "Al Sani will also address the freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the return of conditions in the Strait of Hormuz to their state before February 28 during his visit to Tehran."
