Rodriguez: Oil deal with the US will bring over $100 billion in investment
Venezuela's Interim President Delcy Rodriguez announced that the oil agreement with the US will bring over $100 billion in investment and more than $209 billion in tax revenue to the country.

Venezuela's Interim President Delcy Rodriguez stated on her social media account that the agreement reached with the US government will play a critical role in the country's revitalization. Emphasizing that this step, a result of strengthened relations between the two countries, will provide a significant financial flow towards the development of the hydrocarbon industry and the renewal of strategic infrastructure, Rodriguez thanked US President Donald Trump and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for their contributions.

Providing information on the details of the agreement, Rodriguez noted that they aim for a significant increase in oil production with the participation of the private sector. She stated that 17 strategic fields with a proven oil potential of 65 billion barrels will be developed under the agreement, and in this direction, an investment exceeding $100 billion will be made, providing more than $209 billion in tax revenue to the state treasury.

Rodriguez expressed that these investments will contribute to the country's economic growth, the creation of new employment opportunities, and regional energy security, noting that with this step, Venezuela has entered a new era of recovery, production, and prosperity.
