The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated regarding the US attack on Lark Island, "The US and parties involved in the preparation of the attacks are responsible."
The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a written statement regarding the US attack on Lark Island. The statement noted that civilians and soldiers lost their lives in the attack targeting Iran's 'national sovereignty and territorial integrity', and said, "The Iranian Armed Forces conducted military operations against US military bases in Jordan in response to the attack. The operations were carried out within the scope of 'legitimate self-defense rights'."
The statement also noted that both the US and other parties involved in the preparation or execution of the attacks on Iran will be held responsible.
