Miami-Dade Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz announced that a cargo plane belonging to a company veered off the runway during its landing at Miami International Airport in Florida at 1:58 PM local time yesterday and crashed. Cordero-Stutz stated that 5 people lost their lives in the accident, and 5 injured individuals were taken to hospitals. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
