Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan stated on his social media account that Iran has always been against war and, while protecting the interests of its people, has avoided sparking conflicts to ensure the security of the region. Pezeşkiyan noted that Iran has defended itself against attacks directed at the country so far, saying, “We will resolutely continue this resistance until the aggressors are completely regretful and will continue to protect the rights of the Iranian nation.”
