Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning made a statement on artificial intelligence at a press conference held today. Mao stated that the development of artificial intelligence in China is a result achieved through its own strength, in line with the principles of joint consultation, shared benefits, and open cooperation.
Mao emphasized that China always hopes to strengthen cooperation among parties to transform artificial intelligence into an open, inclusive, and beneficial field for everyone. He said, "The US should stop its baseless accusations and slanders against China by fulfilling the important consensus previously reached by the leaders of the two countries. China and the US, as two major countries, should strengthen cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence."
