U.S. President Donald Trump spoke during his trip to Texas for his party's first congress ahead of the congressional midterm elections. Trump stated that the Tehran administration's resistance is about to be exhausted, saying, “The war will end immediately after the elections and oil prices will rapidly decline.”
Accusing Iran of trying to influence U.S. elections, Trump said, “Tehran aims to bring a weak administration to power that would allow it to obtain nuclear weapons. A new negotiation with Iran might be possible, but it is not on our agenda at this stage.”
