Three people died when a small plane crashed in a rural area of Brazil's Mato Grosso state.
According to local authorities, the incident occurred in the rural area of Agua Boa city, located in the Mato Grosso state in the central-western part of the country. The small plane, which crashed approximately 18 kilometers from the city center and 730 kilometers from the state capital Cuiaba, caught fire and was completely burned due to the impact.
Firefighting teams dispatched to the area around 08:50 local time used approximately 4,000 liters of water to bring the fire under control. The charred bodies of three individuals found in the wreckage of the crashed plane were taken to the forensic medicine institution for identification and forensic examination.
While no information has yet been shared regarding the plane's takeoff and landing route, an investigation into the cause of the incident has been initiated.
