It has been reported that three eruptions occurred at Mount Semeru in the east of Indonesia's Java Island.
The Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) announced that Mount Semeru, located on the border of Lumajang and Malang regions in the east of Java Island, has become active again. The statement noted that the volcano erupted three times, spewing ash to heights of 800 to 1000 meters. The statement emphasized that volcanic activities continue to be monitored, and according to Indonesia's alert system, the volcano's danger level is classified as 'level 3'. Authorities warned local residents to stay away from the crater area.
