US President Donald Trump stated that they have inflicted serious damage on Iran, saying, “We have severely defeated them, and maybe we can go a bit further.”
US President Donald Trump answered questions from the press as he left the White House to attend an election rally in the state of Iowa. In response to a question about whether voters are satisfied with the war with Iran and fuel prices ahead of the congressional midterm elections on November 3, Trump stated that some of the public is pleased with the situation, while others are unhappy.
Emphasizing that everything has a cost, Trump highlighted that many people who love their country support the steps taken. Claiming that they have inflicted serious damage on Iran in many ways, Trump said, “We have severely defeated them, and maybe we can go a bit further.”
