A delegation led by Shahin Babayev, Executive Director of AZCON Holding, met in Kazakhstan with a delegation led by Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Board of the “Samruk-Kazyna” Sovereign Wealth Fund.
The meeting featured the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement outlining key directions for the development of the new 'Caspian Bridge' ('Super Ferry') Trans-Caspian ferry system, alongside a term sheet establishing the core principles for constructing an intermodal cargo terminal within the Baku International Sea Trade Port.
The meeting also featured an exchange of experience in corporate governance and coordination between portfolio companies, as well as cooperation opportunities on the Middle Corridor, dredging works, and marine infrastructure projects.
