The Belarusian airline Belavia has cancelled its 5 March flight to Tel Aviv and plans to send an aircraft to pick up tourists currently in Doha, the airline told BelTA.
Israel’s aviation authorities have extended the ban on flights over the country’s territory until 6 March. As a result, Belavia was forced to cancel its scheduled B2 747/748 Minsk-Tel Aviv-Minsk service on 5 March. Passengers may request a refund at the place of purchase or change their travel date free of charge.
As for the charter flight B29301 Minsk-Doha, scheduled for 2 March, it will operate without passengers, in agreement with the tour operator. The return flight B29302 Doha-Minsk will be used by the airline and the tour operator to bring home tourists who are already in Doha.
The information is current as of today, but due to ongoing flight restrictions in the Middle East, it may change. Flight status updates are available on the Flight Information Board section at belavia.by.
