The delegation of Azerbaijan National AntiDoping agency (AMADA) led by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tahmina Taghi-zada attended the international forum titled “Clean Sport in Action” held in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The event was co-organized by the International Testing Agency, the Institute of National Anti-Doping Organizations, and the World Association of Anti-Doping Scientists.
The forum brought together over 350 leading experts from the global anti-doping system to improve operational effectiveness, share experience, and strengthen cooperation. Participants discussed practical approaches in testing, program coordination, results management, scientific advances, and digital tools through plenary and interactive sessions. The event provided a platform for key anti-doping stakeholders to share knowledge, discuss common challenges, and develop practical solutions. A major focus was strengthening cooperation and aligning approaches ahead of the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code, with discussions highlighting the importance of joint efforts to address common challenges globally.
At the conclusion of the forum, it was emphasized that coordinated action, mutual support, and sharing practical expertise are essential for protecting clean sport. Participants highlighted that addressing shared challenges and developing joint solutions help ensure a more effective and consistent implementation of the global anti-doping system.
