“For the first time, the People's Republic of China has been included as one of the destination countries within the framework of Azerbaijan’s ‘State Program for the Education of Young People at Prestigious Higher Education Institutions of Foreign Countries for 2022–2028,’” said Turan Topalova, Head of the State Program Management Group, in an interview with AZERTAC. She noted that several students admitted this year have chosen Chinese universities as their destination.
Topalova also highlighted that, consistent with previous years, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Türkiye remain the most popular choices among Azerbaijani youth applying to study abroad under the program.
