“I am delighted to visit this land and meet with my brothers and sisters in Azerbaijan,” said Zahra Pezeshkian, the daughter of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the international conference in Baku dedicated to the protecting children in the digital environment and international cooperation.
Recalling her recent visit to Baku and Khankendi with her father, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Zahra Pezeshkian described it as a sign of friendship and deep spiritual bond between Muslim and neighbouring countries Iran and Azerbaijan.
"For these two countries, which have common roots and values in historical, cultural and religious terms, the preservation of the family institution is one of the key and common values and holds a special place in the hearts of our peoples. Based on the Islamic vision, we consider a woman to be the embodiment of beauty and dignity, and give her an important, formative role in the centre of the family, culture and education system," Zahra Pezeshkian underlined.
