New laboratories in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, as well as Digital Systems and Technologies, have been established at Baku Engineering University (BEU) with the aim of enhancing the quality of education, further expanding research activities, and training highly qualified specialists grounded in modern technologies.
In recent years, information technologies have been incorporated among BEU's core specializations, and curricula in this field have been significantly strengthened. The training of highly qualified personnel in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science has become a primary priority. At the same time, the full enrollment of admission quotas for information technology specializations, the increase in the number of high-achieving students, and the growing interest in this field have necessitated the creation of new modern specialized laboratories. As a continuation of the work carried out in this direction, more than 11 laboratories rebuilt to modern standards have been equipped with the latest-generation computers and the necessary technical equipment.
In the new laboratories, students will be able to participate in practical sessions covering artificial intelligence, Big Data Analytics, programming, digital systems modeling, and other technological disciplines. This is of particular significance for students enrolled in the SABAH Program.
The teaching and research activities conducted in the laboratories are expected to make a significant contribution to fostering an innovation environment at the university, developing students' creative potential, and training the technology specialists of the future.
