Croatia breaks records with 1.2 million tourists

In April, Croatia welcomed 1.2 million tourists, a 14% increase compared to the same month last year, while overnight stays rose by 17% to 3.6 million, according to data from the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ).

These results were partly driven by the later timing of the Easter holidays compared to last year. The four-day Easter period alone brought a double-digit increase in tourist traffic compared to the same holidays last year, which fell in March  , DHA Press quotes CE Report.
