“As every year, today we are celebrating the 42nd anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Baku, both through official events and together with the people of Azerbaijan,” said Ufuk Turganer, head of the TRNC Representative Office in Baku, in an interview with AZERTAC.
“Being in Azerbaijan is very important for us. Relations between our two countries are strengthening every year, and we are working to further enhance this cooperation. Safeguarding the sovereignty of our country and state is our top priority. The support extended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is extremely important to us, and we once again express our sincere gratitude for it,” Turganer emphasized.
